About Dr. Marc Liechtung

A pioneer in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, the host of Dentistry Beyond the Numbers and the inventor of Snap-On Smile.

Dr. Marc Liechtung graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the world's most renowned dental schools in 1986, and was accepted to one of the best dental fellowship programs in the country. After graduation, he attended an Advanced Restorative and Implant fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from that fellowship in 1987. His interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry led him to invent the Snap-On Smile multi-purpose restorative appliance in 2004, and subsequently patented the appliance in 2008. In addition to his thriving practices, Dr. Liechtung has embarked on the journey of being a podcast host. In 2023, Dr. Liechtung created 'Dentistry Beyond the Numbers', a podcast catered towards mastering dentistry in all facets for dentists at any stage of their career.
